Mountaineering is a Long duration
Exercises that are quite strenuous on the body
The highest elevation of Panshan is 864.4 meters.
The entire hike uphill takes about 3 hours.
Especially in late autumn and early winter.
The climate is relatively dry, with a significant temperature difference between day and night.
Therefore, when engaging in mountain climbing activities,
Pay even more attention to your nutritional status.
Implement appropriate nutrient supplementation.

1. Before hiking, be sure to warm up by doing some stretching exercises—stretch your legs, rub your knees, and rotate your wrists and ankles—to get your body moving and allow your joints, muscles, and ligaments to warm up before you start climbing.
2. A moderate hiking pace of about 3 kilometers per hour is recommended; avoid rushing, and take time to enjoy the scenery along the way—prioritize comfort for both body and mind.
3. It is best to avoid climbing mountains with loose sand, gravel, or scree; when ascending, do not grab at unstable roots or branches. If you experience shortness of breath during your hike, do not push yourself—stop where you are and take 10 to 12 deep breaths until your breathing returns to normal, then proceed slowly.
4. While hiking, it’s important to take precautions against sprains and strains in the lower back and legs; therefore, be sure to massage the muscles of the lower back and legs during each rest break to prevent muscle stiffness.
5. When hiking, try to carry a walking stick—it conserves energy and enhances safety. On steep slopes, it’s best to ascend in a zigzag pattern, which helps reduce the gradient.
6. When resting, avoid sitting on damp ground or in drafty areas. If you’re sweating, loosen your collar slightly, but do not remove your clothes or take off your hat to prevent catching a cold or getting chilled.
7. In addition, depending on the duration of your climb, be sure to pack an adequate supply of food to maintain sufficient energy levels. With the dry weather, your body will sweat profusely, making timely hydration especially important.
