    As the promotional campaign for the opening ceremony of the 19th Panshan Mountain Opening Festival—titled “Explore Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei: Collaborate for Shared Development”—and the Joint Meeting of the Jingdong Golden Corridor continues to gain momentum, major mainstream media outlets across the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region have paid close attention. Tianjin News featured the festival in its coverage, while Tianjin Daily gave it front-page treatment, amassing over 500,000 views. Meanwhile, the festival has been actively promoted on short‑video platforms, with more than 50 influential internet personalities and key opinion leaders from Beijing and Tianjin—including “Beijing Xiaotanjiang,” “Hello Tianjin,” and “Very Good at Xiao Han”—visiting the scenic area to check in and film. Through a “live stream + store‑visit” format, they offered an insider’s perspective, highlighting both the festival and the vibrant Qingming‑season tourism, collectively generating over 5 million video views. This robust online buzz has drawn significant foot traffic, driving a sharp rise in the area’s popularity and attracting large numbers of visitors eager to explore and take photos.

Panshan is a picturesque landscape, with rolling hills and towering peaks, all cloaked in lush greenery. Strolling along the mountain paths, you can marvel at the majestic waterfalls, listen to the gentle murmur of the flowing streams, and feel the tender grace of delicate pink petals gently swaying in the breeze. In springtime, Panshan is a place that leaves visitors spellbound and reluctant to depart.

     


Climb Shangpanshan Mountain, Enjoy Performances, and Experience Local Folklore

The lion‑dance performance by the “Northern Lion King” Liu Ji’s troupe from Cangzhou, along with folk‑art acts such as quyi, acrobatics, and face‑changing, all showcased the charm and splendor of traditional Chinese culture, drawing the attention of countless visitors.




Climb Shangpan Mountain, stroll through the market, and savor local delicacies.

At the market, you’ll find time-honored Jizhou brands alongside local intangible cultural heritage snacks such as smoked sausage, Yipin baked buns, zi huo shao, and Sangzi bean crisps, as well as folk delicacies from across the country—like Changsha stinky tofu, thumb-sized pan-fried buns, Mongolian meat skewers, Shaanxi sour-and-spicy noodles, Wuhan hot dry noodles, and Hong Kong–style roasted chicken. There’s even Yuyang liquor, proudly touted as a century-old tradition from Jingdezhen’s Shao Guo'er distillery, allowing visitors to savor the flavors of China while taking in the stunning scenery.

· From April 11 to April 28, 2024, present your registered ID card at the ticket office of the Panshan Scenic Area in Tianjin to exchange for a ticket and use it. Once exchanged, the ticket is valid only for the day of issuance and becomes void after expiration.

Scenic Area Opening Hours


Opening Hours : Fully open to the public: March 16–November 15, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Partially open: From November 15 to March 15 of the following year, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., during the forest fire prevention period, the scenic area is open only as far as Wansong Temple.

Operating hours for the Panshan Cable Car and sightseeing buses: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.;

Note: 1. All cable cars will undergo maintenance every Monday morning and will be out of service. (Except on statutory holidays.) 2. The official operating hours are subject to the latest announcements issued by the scenic area.
