At the opening ceremony of the Panshan Mountain Excavation Festival, six localities—Tongzhou District of Beijing, Jizhou District of Tianjin, and the cities of Tangshan and Sanhe, along with Xianghe County and Dachang Hui Autonomous County in Hebei Province—jointly signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on Co‑building the “Jingdong Golden Corridor.” By establishing this collaborative platform, they aim to significantly enhance the market influence of the Jingdong Golden Corridor’s cultural tourism and related industries, fostering a pattern of coordinated development characterized by complementary strengths, mutual benefits, and pioneering experimentation.

Walking Through the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei Region: A Special Report

“Since the beginning of this year, during peak holiday periods, tourists from Beijing and Hebei have accounted for over 55% of visitors to Jizhou District, reaching an all-time high. In mid-to-late April, Jizhou District will join forces with Pinggu District in Beijing and Xinglong County in Hebei to host a tourism promotion event in Beijing, distributing cultural‑and‑tourism vouchers to local residents. Additionally, it will collaborate with China Tourism Group Investment & Asset Management Co., Ltd. to develop and launch bundled offerings such as “car + ticket” and “car + scenic area” packages, aiming to attract visitors from the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region to Jizhou,” said Zhang Jianyu, Deputy Secretary of the Jizhou District Party Committee and District Mayor.
