The 2026 Spring Festival Fair at Panshan Scenic Area has concluded successfully!

Author:

On February 22, 2026 (the sixth day of the first lunar month), the “Blessings Fill Panshan: A Winter Wonderland” Spring Festival Fair at Panshan Scenic Area came to a successful close. During the holiday period, the scenic area welcomed a total of visitors. Over 70,000 person-times , total revenue achieved year-over-year 260% remarkable leap‑forward growth. Building on a robust safety framework and enhanced service quality, the scenic area has positioned “royal culture + icy‑and‑snowy marvels + immersive interactive experiences” at its core, aiming to kick off Pan Shan’s tourism efforts in 2026 with a strong start.

Program innovation breathes new life into the show, while immersive interactive experiences spark a wave of enthusiasm.

The highlight of this garden fair is the creation of an immersive NPC‑interaction system that spans all hours and multiple settings, forging a groundbreaking fusion of traditional culture and modern tourism. Every day at 8:58 a.m., the grand opening performance “Qianlong Welcomes Guests—Pan Shan Celebrates the New Year” takes center stage in the Shengshan Gate Square, with majestic ceremonial processions and courtly protocols instantly elevating the festive spirit. Throughout the event, “Emperor Qianlong,” accompanied by civil and military officials, palace maids, and guards, reenacts the iconic scene of his “mountain‑patrolling blessing.” Meanwhile, a towering 3‑meter‑high “mecha‑style Qianlong” makes a commanding circuit through the grounds, its striking blend of cutting‑edge technology and historical gravitas quickly becoming a viral photo‑op hotspot across the internet.

“Fortune, Prosperity, Longevity, Joy, and Wealth”—five iconic deities, mountain‑patrolling sprites, and soldiers of the Eight Banners—wander throughout the scenic area, handing out specially crafted “silver notes” and New Year lucky bags to visitors through quiz challenges and interactive quests. In addition, nearly a hundred folk‑style performances take turns on stage, including “Lucky Lions Bring Blessings,” “Dancing on Drums in Flowing Silks,” and “Eight‑Banner War Drum Music Welcomes Guests.” Spectacular acts such as Sichuan Opera’s face‑changing, comedic crosstalk and rhythmic clappers, and intangible cultural heritage acrobatics offer a feast for the senses, allowing visitors to savor the traditional New Year spirit with every step and every change of scenery—enabling them to “time‑travel in an instant to the grand imperial New Year festivities of the Qing Dynasty.”

Strong service support lays a solid foundation for safety and order.

To cope with the Spring Festival travel peak, the scenic area has adhered to the principle of “safety first, service paramount,” proactively planning and meticulously organizing its operations. It has rigorously implemented holiday visitor management protocols, conducted real-time monitoring of visitor flow data, and ensured the safety of tourists. In key areas such as the cable car hub, the folk‑culture interaction zone, and the performance square, additional staff have been deployed to maintain fixed posts, while traffic management and safety patrols have been strengthened, thereby establishing a comprehensive safeguard for tourist safety.
All staff members at the scenic area remained at their posts, providing meticulous services to make visitors’ journeys more comfortable. From ticketing and information assistance to entrance guidance and emergency support, every department worked in close coordination, ensuring smooth operations even during peak periods—no overcrowding, no chaos. Throughout the holiday, the site recorded no major safety incidents or substantiated tourism complaints, and visitor satisfaction continued to rise.

Spring tides surge, ushering in a new journey; with spurred horses and whips raised, we press forward once more. Taking this Spring Festival garden fair as an opportunity, Panshan Scenic Area will continue to delve into its cultural heritage, innovate its offerings, and enrich immersive experience‑driven settings, thereby driving high‑quality development and presenting visitors with cultural‑tourism products that blend time‑honored traditions with contemporary vitality, thus helping Jizhou become a new hub for the integration of culture and tourism across the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region.
