The opening ceremony kicked off with a rousing and majestic performance of “Majestic Gongs and Drums,” as the gong-and-drum troupe from Dongbeiyu Village struck up the golden‑autumn overture with crisp, resounding beats. The dance “Prosperous China” performed by Tianjin Media College was grand and graceful, while the opera “Melodic Charm, Dancing Soul” presented by the Third Troupe of the Tianjin Opera Theatre lingered with an enduring, evocative charm. Meanwhile, the poetry recitation “Rendezvous with Panshan” conveyed, in heartfelt words, a deep love for and admiration of Jizhou’s mountains and waters, bringing the event to a thrilling climax.
At the event, there was also a plaque‑presentation ceremony for the “Jizhou Gold‑Standard Homestays,” an awards ceremony for the “Encountering Panshan” short‑video contest, and a welcome to Tianjin.
