In the golden autumn of October, a wave of “guochao” (national trend) is sweeping the nation. During the National Day holiday, Tianjin Panshan Scenic Area was bustling with visitors, filled with cheerful laughter and lively chatter. On the morning of October 3, a unique cultural performance titled “Tianjin and Hebei United in Harmony: Silk Road Sentiments,” featuring exchanges and integration between Tianjin’s Jizhou District and Xinjiang’s Cele County, was brilliantly staged at Fuyuan Square in the scenic area. The event infused the “National‑Style Garden Fair” with rich ethnic flair, becoming a major highlight of the holiday’s cultural and tourism offerings.

This event Co-hosted by the Publicity Department of the Jizhou District Committee of Tianjin, the Publicity Department of the Cele County Committee of Xinjiang, the Jizhou District Development and Reform Commission, and the Jizhou District Culture and Tourism Bureau. The “Tianjin and Jizhou in Harmony—Cultural Exchange Along the Silk Road” cultural performance, held at Fuyuan Square in Panshan Scenic Area, was a resounding success. A performing arts delegation from Cele County, Xinjiang, joined local artists from Jizhou, Tianjin, on stage, presenting the people of Jizhou and countless visitors with a cultural feast that spanned eight thousand miles.

The entire performance featured a diverse array of artistic forms, including song and dance, instrumental music, traditional opera, and intangible cultural heritage performances. The atmosphere was electric, with thunderous applause throughout. During the interactive segment, audience members enthusiastically joined in learning the Maixilai dance steps and received unique Qarle‑style gifts, bringing the event to a thrilling climax.

This time The “Tianjin and Tongxin: Silk Road Sentiments” cultural performance is one of the highlight events in the Pan Shan Scenic Area’s “National‑Style Garden Fair” series during the Golden Week holiday. By adopting a model that integrates culture and tourism with performing arts and with vibrant marketplaces, the scenic area seamlessly blends ethnic cultural exchange, trendy consumer experiences, and natural landscape sightseeing, offering visitors a richer, more multifaceted vacation experience. This initiative also represents another innovative step by Jizhou District in advancing coordinated cultural and tourism development across Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, and in building a network of partners along the “Eastern Jingdong Golden Corridor.”

In the future, Jizhou and Cele will continue to use culture as a bond, expand areas of cooperation, innovate forms of exchange, and jointly write… A new chapter of “Tianjin and Hebei as One Family, United in Pursuing the Future.”
