The Secretary of the District Party Committee… District Chief Zhang Jianyu attended the opening ceremony.

Zhang Jianyu and other attending leaders jointly inaugurated the first Mountain Village Song Festival of Jizhou District, Tianjin, along with the 12th Panshan Red Leaf Festival. Han Yixin, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Head of the Publicity Department, delivered a welcome address. District leaders Zhang Kai, Zhu Jingqi, and Yin Xueyun, together with Zhang Jianpeng, Secretary-General of the Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and Song Maobin, Secretary-General of the Municipal Musicians’ Association, also attended.

This event is jointly guided by the Tianjin Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Tianjin Musicians Association, the Tianjin Literary and Artistic Volunteers Association, the Publicity Department of the Jizhou District CPC Committee, and the Jizhou District Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and co‑hosted by Tianjin Yuyang Ecological Construction and Development Co., Ltd. and the People’s Government of Guanzhuang Town, Jizhou District. It aims to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping’s Thought on Culture, earnestly carry out the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech during his inspection of Tianjin, continuously deepen the “Four ‘With’” approach, and ensure the effective implementation of the “Foundation‑Strengthening Project”—the initiative to leverage literature and art in bolstering grassroots spiritual civilization—in Jizhou District.

Panshan Scenic Area Since Since 2012, the “Panshan Red Leaves Festival” has been held annually from mid-October to late November. In the golden autumn, Panshan’s ten-thousand-mu red‑leaf forest—comprising over 200 species of trees, including red maples, staghorn sumacs, five‑pointed maples, hawthorns, and persimmon trees—draws countless visitors eager to admire its breathtaking colors. In recent years, the Panshan Scenic Area has progressively introduced a range of attractions and activities, such as red‑leaf viewing, mountain‑climbing for blessings, the period‑costume drama “Qianlong’s Tour of Panshan,” and 3D animation events, among others. Through events such as the Climbing Competition and the National Photography Contest, the “Panshan Red Leaves Festival” has steadily evolved into a popular tourism brand cherished by visitors from the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region and beyond.

“This year’s Red Leaves Festival runs from October 18 to November 30. Under the theme ‘Mountains Clothed in Layers of Crimson, Danfeng Welcomes Autumn,’ we’ve curated three distinctive routes—natural ecology, historical and cultural heritage, and high-altitude scenic views—and integrated immersive experiences such as a national‑style cultural fair,” said Gao Wenyi, Party Secretary and Chairman of Tianjin Yuyang Ecological Construction and Development Co., Ltd., which manages the Panshan Scenic Area, with great confidence. “We aim to let visitors to Panshan savor the breathtaking beauty of ‘frost‑kissed leaves redder than February blossoms.’”

“Cultivating tourism through culture and highlighting culture through tourism—this event is not only a feast of the arts but also a rallying point for confidence and a convergence of strength,” said Han Yixin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Jizhou District Party Committee and Head of the Publicity Department. He added that Jizhou District will take this occasion as an opportunity to further deepen its “Foundation-Strengthening Initiative,” channel high-quality cultural and artistic resources to the grassroots level, and forge a more influential cultural brand for the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region, ensuring that the arts truly serve as the finishing touch in the integration of culture and tourism, a powerful catalyst for rural revitalization, and a heartwarming melody that enhances the people’s well-being.
