The deepest hues of autumn, year after year.

Year after year, on the day of Frost’s Descent, the cold grows colder each day.

The Sun reaches a celestial longitude of 210°.

We have welcomed the last solar term of autumn.

Frost's Descent

At this time, the diurnal temperature range is increasing.

Temperatures often drop below zero degrees Celsius at night.

Water vapor undergoes deposition on the ground and vegetation.

Hence the name “Frost’s Descent.”

In ancient China, the period of Frost’s Descent was divided into three hou.

First, the jackals begin to offer sacrifices to the beasts; second, the grasses and trees turn yellow and fall; third, the hibernating insects all withdraw.

In other words, at this time, animals such as jackals begin to hunt and secure food to survive the winter.

Grasses and trees turn withered and yellow, leaves fall, and the earth is awash in the rich hues of autumn.

Hibernating animals begin to hide in their burrows, remaining motionless and fasting as they enter hibernation.

In many parts of China, it is customary to eat persimmons during the Frost’s Descent solar term.

As the saying goes, “Eat persimmons on Frost’s Descent, and you won’t get a runny nose.”

In some regions, it is also believed that persimmons should be eaten on the day of Frost’s Descent.

Otherwise, your lips will crack all winter long.

In ancient times, there was a saying: “When frost falls, chrysanthemums bloom.”

So climb the high mountain and admire the chrysanthemums.

Thus, it has become an elegant custom of the Frost’s Descent solar term.

In Pan Shan, during the Frost’s Descent season, the branches are steeped in the rich hues of autumn.

Under the gentle caress of autumn frost, the mixed coniferous–broadleaf forest…

The myriad leaves blaze in a riot of colors, and the layered forests are all ablaze—truly a magnificent sight.

At this time of year, climb high and gaze into the distance.

The beautiful scenery unfolds before your eyes.

Leave a touch of poetry in the autumn of Panshan.

A single red leaf, a distant range of dark green mountains, and a few faint traces of autumn water.

A touch of brightness, a heart full of passion, and romance in many corners.

A sea of clouds stretches as far as the eye can see, a kaleidoscope of colors.

Passing through the cracks of time without a trace.

The season has blurred the edges of my brow.
