To further strengthen the forest fire‑fighting teams’ emergency response and coordinated operational capabilities, verify the effectiveness of firefighting equipment, and comprehensively enhance forest fire prevention and suppression standards, On November 9, 2023, Panshan Scenic Area jointly… The Guanzhuang Town Government, the Panshan Fire and Rescue Station, and public security officers conducted an emergency forest fire‑prevention and suppression drill. Leaders responsible for designated areas in all 34 villages of the town, along with village Party branch secretaries, observed the exercise on site.






Fire emergency drill at Panshan Scenic Area




Prior to the commencement of the drill, all personnel involved in the fire‑emergency exercise arrived punctually at the main entrance lobby. Communication equipment was tested and confirmed to be functioning properly; walkie‑talkies were set to the same channel as those used by the command center, and all required fire‑safety equipment and supplies were assembled. A headcount was taken, participants lined up in an orderly fashion, and they awaited further instructions.



This drill simulated a sudden fire at a temporary parking lot near the Panshan Scenic Area, with the blaze spreading rapidly.



Upon receiving a fire alarm, the on-site command center reported that a fire had been spotted on the south side of the scenic area’s temporary parking lot, with an imminent risk of spreading into the adjacent forested zone. The on-site commander immediately activated the fire‑response emergency plan, dispatched the mobile firefighting team to the scene, and coordinated firefighting operations. The blaze was brought under control, while the medical rescue team and the logistics support team arrived at the site to implement the established emergency response procedures. Through the concerted efforts of all participating rescue units, the fire was successfully extinguished.



During the execution of this fire emergency drill, all departments clearly defined their responsibilities and collaborated closely, successfully completing all assigned tasks and ensuring the drill’s overall success.



This fire‑fighting drill has further enhanced the Panshan Scenic Area’s overall emergency response capabilities and comprehensive preparedness for handling emergencies and forest fires, bolstering the confidence and resolve of all departments in forest‑fire prevention efforts. At the same time, through realistic, scenario‑based exercises, it has laid a solid foundation for jointly winning the critical battle against forest fires in the Panshan region this winter and next spring.
