The “Scenery of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei” Cultural and Tourism Promotion Event—Tianjin·Jizhou Special Session—was held at the Beijing Olympic Center!

In the golden autumn, the scenery is as picturesque as a painting—truly the perfect time to set out on a journey. On the morning of September 21, a cultural and tourism promotion event from Jizhou, Tianjin, was underway at the South Plaza of the Beijing Olympic Center. Vivid cultural performances, a rich array of tourism and cultural promotions, and authentic intangible‑cultural‑heritage delicacies frequently draw passersby to stop and watch or to come and sample them.
This “Scenic Beauty of Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei Cultural and Tourism Promotion Event—Tianjin·Jizhou Special Session” is jointly hosted by the Jizhou District Culture and Tourism Bureau of Tianjin, Tianjin Yuyang Ecological Construction and Development Co., Ltd., the Jizhou District Tourism Association of Tianjin, the Management Committee of the Beijing Olympic Center, Beijing Aoyuan International Tourism Co., Ltd., and the Regional Collaborative Cooperation Working Committee of the China Tourist Attractions Association, among other organizations. The event aims to attract visitors to Jizhou by showcasing cultural and tourism resources, offering products for sale, providing interactive experiences, and conducting targeted promotions, thereby drawing more tourists from Beijing to explore Jizhou in Tianjin and fostering the efficient flow of tourism resources and the coordinated development of the cultural and tourism industries across the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region.

“ Panshan is National scenic area, among the first batch of national… A 5A‑level tourist attraction, it covers a planned area of 110.9 square kilometers and is home to one national key cultural relic protection site and six municipal‑level cultural relic protection sites. Panshan’s origins… Record Flourishing in the Han dynasty, thriving during the Tang, and reaching its zenith in the Qing, it is a premier destination for tourism and leisure, where natural landscapes and historic sites coexist, and Buddhist and imperial cultures seamlessly converge. In the Tang era, it was renowned within Buddhist circles as “Mount Wutai of the East”; during the Kangxi period of the Qing dynasty, it earned international acclaim as “the First Mountain of Eastern Jing”; and in the early Republic of China, it was ranked alongside Mount Huangshan, Mount Tai, West Lake, and other celebrated landmarks, being listed among China’s fifteen most famous scenic spots. During the Qing dynasty, the Qianlong Emperor ascended Pan Mountain on 32 occasions, composing 1,702 poems and famously remarking, “Had I known of Pan Mountain, why would I have descended to the Jiangnan region?” Gao Jianhui, the cultural and tourism ambassador for Panshan Mountain and Limutai Scenic Area, introduced the Panshan and Limutai attractions of Jizhou to visitors on site.
Pan Shan currently has Five major scenic areas, with more than 360 scenic spots, welcome an annual influx of tourists reaching… With 1.95 million visitor arrivals and tourism revenues exceeding RMB 100 million, the site has been successively recognized by relevant national authorities with such prestigious honors as China’s Top 100 Scenic Spots, the Nation’s Most Valuable Cultural Tourism Destination, an Advanced Collective within the National Tourism System, a National Civilized Unit (6th Session), and one of the first batch of National-Level Model Units for Civilized Tourism.
Taking distinctive tourism activities as its driving force, Panshan has hosted a variety of culture‑and‑tourism‑integrated events, enhancing visitors’ engagement and experience. Today, the Panshan Opening‑Mountain Festival, the Panshan Off‑Road Challenge, the Panshan Martial Arts Festival, and the Panshan Electronic Music and Beer Festival have all become well‑known cultural and tourism events in the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region.
Limutai Scenic Area is a National Geopark, a National Forest Park, and a National 4A‑level tourist attraction. Its spectacular, otherworldly peaks are home to a lush, pristine secondary forest ecosystem. The main peak, Qifu Ding, stands at an elevation of 997 meters, and the entire area spans 1,000 hectares. Scholars and experts have dubbed it “Tianjin’s Shennongjia” and “the Northern Tropical Rainforest.”
The scenic area also preserves the oldest ancient Great Wall site in Tianjin, dating back to the Tianbao era of the Northern Qi dynasty, with a total length of… At an elevation of 5,600 meters, it is constructed of rough stone along a mountain ridge between 500 and 900 meters above sea level, its steep, precipitous slopes evoking the timeless charm and weathered grandeur of history.
At the event, representatives from Jizhou Yuyang Ecological Construction and Development Co., Ltd., Jizhou Tourism and Culture Group, Jizhou Green Food Group, Yihao Shanshuijun Hotel, and other organizations each delivered presentations.
In addition to tour itineraries, Jizhou District has also brought its signature attractions, guesthouses, hotels, intangible cultural heritage sites, and local agricultural and specialty products to the promotional event.
At the event site, more than a dozen vendor booths showcased time-honored delicacies and local agricultural products—such as stone‑ground yuanxiao, qizi huojiao, sesame‑sauce eggs, Hongxiang crisp pears, mountain‑treasure mushrooms, and grindstone persimmons—drawing crowds of visitors eager to sample and purchase them.
