[China Calligraphy and Painting News] “Encountering Panshan—Exhibition of Contemporary Chinese Masters’ Calligraphy and Paintings”

Author:

On October 16, the China Calligraphy and Painting Daily published an article about the “Encountering Panshan” exhibition of works by renowned contemporary Chinese artists, held at the Panshan Scenic Area in our region. This calligraphy and painting exhibition brings together masterpieces by nearly a hundred renowned contemporary artists, offering art lovers a sumptuous feast while enriching visitors’ experience with a vibrant cultural ambiance amid the autumn foliage. Let us come together to appreciate these works...

These works are the fruits of the artist’s creative endeavor, using the brush to interpret the natural beauty and cultural charm of Panshan. Some capture the majestic grandeur of Panshan with bold, unrestrained strokes; others meticulously render the intricate details of Jizhou’s mountains, rocks, and vegetation in meticulous, richly colored techniques; still others employ a commanding, sweeping hand to convey the profound and timeless spiritual essence of Panshan. Together, these pieces reflect the artist’s deep understanding and heartfelt appreciation of Panshan’s natural and cultural landscapes, while also embodying a seamless fusion of traditional Chinese culture and contemporary aesthetic sensibilities. Taking this exhibition as an opportunity, we hope to enable audiences worldwide to further appreciate the unique allure of China’s Panshan, and at the same time, to contribute to the continued advancement of Chinese painting and calligraphy.
