This morning (April 1), the China‑Thailand Nature Education Music Masterclass, one of the public‑service events under the “Beautiful China on a Thousand‑Mile Journey” initiative (Tianjin Jizhou Station) and the 20th Pan Shan Mountain Opening Festival in Tianjin, kicked off at the Pan Shan Scenic Area.

Han Yixin, a member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Head of the Publicity Department, attended the event. Internationally acclaimed young pianist Wang Yang and renowned Thai composer and violin‑piano virtuoso Professor Achima delivered live masterclasses to local children, sowing the seeds of music in their hearts. Amid the picturesque Pan Shan Scenic Area, as melodious piano pieces flowed effortlessly from their fingertips, the two musical masters performed works such as “I Love You, China.”

Students and teachers from Jizhou No. 1 Middle School and Shanqingcheng Primary School waved small national flags, fully immersed in the experience and attentively savoring this precious and rare musical feast.

Following this, the students took to the stage to present their piano pieces. Student representatives performed works they had carefully prepared, and Wang Yang offered insightful commentary and conducted on-the-spot instructional demonstrations. His guidance was both highly professional and meticulously attentive, enabling the students to gain invaluable insights and deeply appreciate the techniques and artistry of piano performance.

This China–Thailand nature‑education music masterclass was held at the Panshan Scenic Area, seamlessly blending music with the natural landscape. Immersing young people in beautiful surroundings while nurturing their musical sensibilities is a hallmark of the “Beautiful China Ten‑Thousand‑Mile Journey” music masterclasses. Meanwhile, the District Education Bureau appointed Wang Yang and Aqima as artistic mentors for primary and secondary schools in our district and presented them with official appointment letters.
