The 31st China North China Photography Art Exhibition has grandly opened at the Panshan Scenic Area!

On May 7, the 31st China North China Photography Art Exhibition was held at Panshan Scenic Area, showcasing more than 200 outstanding photographic works that capture the picturesque landscapes and cultural heritage of the five provinces and municipalities in North China, all open to visitors free of charge.

According to reports, the North China Photography Art Exhibition was first launched in the early 1970s. As the oldest large-scale, regionally coordinated photography exhibition in the country, jointly organized by provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions, it has become a key platform for photographic art exchange and exhibition in the North China region.

 

Opening Ceremony

This year’s exhibition is co-hosted by the Tianjin Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the photography associations of Tianjin, Beijing, Hebei Province, Shanxi Province, and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. With the theme of celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, it uses the lens to document and bear witness to the new face and remarkable achievements of development in the North China region. On opening day, representatives of photographers from across North China, along with several exhibiting artists, gathered at Panshan to engage in in-depth exchanges with photography enthusiasts and visitors.

↑ Zheng Gengsheng, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the China Photographers Association, announced the opening of the 31st China North China Photography Art Exhibition!

This photography exhibition is held at Fuyuan Square, the new mountain gate of Panshan Scenic Area, and runs from May 7 to May 20. The works on display highlight, from various perspectives, the North China region’s stunning natural landscapes, distinctive urban vistas, vibrant cultural heritage, and remarkable achievements in development. As a national 5A‑level scenic spot, Panshan is a popular “check‑in” destination for countless photography enthusiasts; many of the images featured in this exhibition capture the area’s picturesque scenery as well as the local cultural landmarks, traditions, and folkways.
