As of December 1, 2018, the rectification status of the Panshan Natural Scenic and Historic Site Protection Zone is as follows:

(1) The livestock breeding site to which Chen Zhong belonged has completed building demolition and landscaping restoration, and has now been closed.

(2) Holiday Mountain Villa Farmhouse. The demolition of the buildings and the landscaping restoration have been completed, and the case has been closed.

(3) The North Shaolin Temple Restoration Project. On June 25, 2018, a notice ordering the suspension of construction was issued to the Preparatory Committee for the North Shaolin Temple, halting all ongoing work on the project. On August 31, a consultation and field investigation were conducted at the National Forestry and Grassland Administration. The Administration responded that, in accordance with the “Master Plan for Panshan Scenic Area (2016–2030),” which permits, under prescribed procedures, the resumption of work related to the reconstruction of the North Shaolin Temple, the restoration of the temple has been approved and will proceed once the relevant formalities are completed. The project is currently undergoing rectification and has not yet been officially closed.

   

(4) The livestock breeding site under Wang Qi’s jurisdiction. The dismantling of breeding facilities and subsequent landscaping restoration have been completed, and the case has been closed.

(5) The livestock breeding site under the jurisdiction of Jia Weijun. The dismantling of breeding facilities and subsequent landscaping restoration have been completed, and the case has been closed.

(6) Xu Wenju Residence. Completion of building demolition and construction waste removal. The Guanzhuang Town Government plans to carry out site restoration and revegetation by May 1, 2019.

(7) Wen Cuiping Building (formerly the residential property belonging to Liu Shide and Liu Yongjun). With respect to ancillary structures and gatehouses hastily constructed after the Municipal Construction Commission issued the “Notice on Strictly Implementing Relevant Provisions of the Regulations on Scenic and Historic Areas” on June 20, 2017, a notice ordering the demolition of these unauthorized constructions within a specified time limit was served on September 5 (Document No. Pan Zhi Zi [2018] No. 5). In accordance with the Administrative Compulsory Law, if the parties concerned fail to file an administrative reconsideration or bring an administrative lawsuit within the statutory period and also fail to demolish the structures, our bureau will, in accordance with the law, apply to the People’s Court for compulsory enforcement. During the rectification process, the case has not yet been closed.
