Exhibition of Award-Winning and Selected Entries from the “Beautiful Panshan: Stories in Light and Shadow” National Photography Contest

The inaugural “Beautiful Panshan: Stories in Light and Shadow” National Photography Contest has concluded successfully. Since the call for entries launched in June 2018, the competition received more than 1,480 submissions—comprising individual photographs and series—from photographers and photography enthusiasts across Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi, Henan, Inner Mongolia, and other provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions. In accordance with the contest’s guidelines and judging criteria, the organizing committee’s review panel undertook a meticulous process of sorting, screening, and preliminary evaluation, before convening a panel of experts to select the winning works. The results awarded one Gold Prize, two Silver Prizes, five Bronze Prizes, ten Honorable Mention Awards, and included 90 selected entries (in the form of photographs or series).
